TTU Environmental Toxicology 40 subscribers On September 19, 2022, Dr. Tosha Dupras, Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences at Texas Tech University, USA visited the Nonwovens and Advanced Laboratory at Texas Tech University. Dr. Dupras carried out “Oil Absorption,” experiment with cotton nonwoven. It worked like a charm. Graduate students carrying out research in the laboratory under the guidance of Professor Seshadri Ramkumar demonstrated filtration tester and nanofiber spinning to the Dean. Dr. Dupras who is an internationally renowned anthropologist could prove that raw cotton indeed does its trick. The laboratory focuses on sustainable and advanced materials for human health enhancement and environmental protection.
